Hi Paul wonder why the article didnt mention that possibility that was the BOE's intention all along.. interesting that finally this week saw on CNN a small report saying how so many Americans are having trouble paying their bills even though income 45,000 I am so glad there is no inflation. Also wonder why the press is finally getting on the stick and revealing how the middle class is getting smashed.. a Japanese friend said now in Japan, there is also need for two incomes to maintain the life style that required only one income years ago.. sounds like corporations throughout the world has taken advantage of women's lib.. an aquaintance from India also told me that women are entering the work force big time.. Wonder if since the election is coming up in another year, newspapers will start reporting more and more about how the middle class is struggling in these booming times.. my theory is that most people who are in that boat might have thought they were the only ones and were ashamed and kept quiet..since all we read about is how great the economy is and anybody who wants a job can get a job..if more and more people start to realize that this productivity is because they are working more and more hours and they are not being compensated for it..in fact they are being forced to shortchange their kids.. (ps I told a friend that we are probably headed for socialism and she said she thought that that wasn't possible..her reason was that the powerful corporations would probably kill a politician who was gaining power and who had socialistic views..
