>>>>>>With the new platform and infrastructure in place, the focus now is not only adding new features, but actually creating the next generation of discussion community on the Web. This new site is just the first step in getting you there, although it won't happen overnight.

That sounds encouraging.

"At this point, I am not seeking your approval. Instead, I am asking for your continued input."

that pretty much sums up SI's position since day one, i believe. and it reinforces my perception ( #reply-10434630 ) that what you have interpreted as positive feedback is, in some cases, merely people who have sensed this, and wish to at least have some of their wishes represented in the coming version.

btw, sorry for addressing my post to you "hi brad". it was pure inadvertence on my part, as opposed to the wee hours.

Can you please put the date and time on the homepage under the portfolio, and on the market monitor pages? I need this because I am looking at a few naz quotes on my screen and if they are different, I don't know what I am looking at. The old SI homepage had the datetime under the naz quote.

Thanks

Bryan,

You and I exchanged a few PMs, after I was selected as a Beta tester, concerning BrowseMaster.

You suggested I try the Beta version with BrowseMaster and report my findings.

At this point in time, BrowseMaster does not support the Beta, and I understand it will not until it is finalized.

I can report, however, that I will be a BrowseMaster customer, if possible, for one basic feature. That is the ability to download a hundred messages at a time instead of ten.

Concerning the "Ignore Poster" feature, even though I have it, I have never used it. The reason is that it is so fast to scroll past a post from a poster you wish to ignore. You can scroll slowly if you wish, to search for a possibly interesting sentence. In most cases the posts of the shills I wish to ignore are so long, I simply scroll quickly.

Why don't you simply hire Craig Richards, let him program BrowseMaster into the Beta, and give us members the best of both worlds?

Just a thought.

Have fun,
Phil

P.S. I am not a head hunter.<VBG>

Bryan,

Thanks for changing the number on the 'Inbox' to red, it makes it so much easier to pick up that you have messages.

Oh, and Happy Birthday.
