I think that their month-end is July 31st. Anything shipped after that will count only for the next quarter. The back-to-school sales really kick into gear in August. The V3 3500 makes a certain amount of sense as an item for students. It turns the computer into a TV, so you don't have to buy a TV and with a DVD drive you can watch movies as well. Pretty decent for a small dorm room (assuming that cable goes into the room and not just into a shared rec room). EB dates are not the most reliable in the world and I think that the V3 3500 will be a decent OEM card as well. 3dfx has been saying July for quite a while so I really hope it isn't any later before it comes out.
