To be honest...I don't know the answer. What bothers me is the fact that WAVX has been working on this for over 10 years and the likes of AT&T hadn't bought into their technology before now.
Does this mean that they will not buy-in tomorrow....I don't know. However, the wording of the Consumer Reports article was..."are developing ways consumers can buy and download". Why and what could they be working on if WAVX has the answer?

Also intriguing from the Consumer Reports article was the fact that new products competing against the RIO devise will be in the stores by Xmas and apparently this will resolve the issue of pirated music...if I read the article correctly and I read it twice to "try" and make sure I understood what they were saying.
