ISP's monthly fee used to be charged by hours, this type of
fee-charge pattern broke because some ISPs started 'unlimited usage'
fee-charge type few years back, that is how we get our unlimited
usage from almost all ISPs today.

DSL or cable for internet is still expensive, that fee-charge model
must be broken to benefit the consumers, that's us.

If ATT allows ATHM to dominate the pipelines, how and when would
the consumers get a break on the monthly fee?

If IBM is only PC provider today, do you think we can get
free-pc (almost) today?

If all cars are made by GM only, do you think (almost) everyone in
USA can afford to own a car today?

If all utilities are provided by GE only, maybe you see more
candle light in the night (not romantic type).

If all xxx are provided by one joint, you and I may not be
able to afford to lurk around in this chat room.

'Open access' is consumers' bill of rights, 'open access' is the engine
behind any industries, because competition among
providers make them to provide better and affordable price to
consumers.

The early the 'open access' applies to cable the faster the internet
industries will grow.

If you don't like the car, you won't buy your next one from
the same car maker.

If you don't like your ISP, you can change to a new one.

If you don't like DELL's PC, you can buy from HWP or CPQ or IBM or...

If you don't like ATT, you can use MCI or Sprint.

If you don't like ATHM's log-in screens in your CABLE Internet service, can you choose one that you like for your log-in screen?

All consumers like open-access because it is good for the pocket,
people who are in mental struggling between ATHM/AOL because they
own both stocks not because they don't want open-access.

I had ATHM and AOL together more than once
and I can't take the constant contradiction, I can't argue
with the truth of open-access constantly, I can't wish ATHM/AOL strikes a
impossible deal so they can both grow into my pocket
so I decide to be out of ATHM so I can clearly
see where I stand!
