Yeah, John, that's why I want to get the full story. CDMA, of course was known in some fashion from Navy experiments with underwater communication during the 70's.

I am sure who did what has been published. I just have not seen it yet.

BTW, Edison was not a one man show, and most of his stuff was done by his assistants on his orders. He fought Tesla on AC. It was called "the battle of the currents" at the time. Edison lost, Tesla won, and Tesla's reward was that Edison's name is on all of the Electric companies!

Edmond Land of really was a "one man show".

I am watching "the Winds of Kittyhawk" on the History channel right now. It is faithfully done, and a real story of what happens to Innovators. Curtis ripped them off, they sued, won, and Curtis continued! They gave up, finally. The real tragedy was how the Smithsonian Institute treated them. They refused to credit them and gave Langley credit for 40 years!
