gbh, All the tests of the K7 in the mags would argue with your conclusions. But, we all know those tests are like poll questions and they often get the answers they want to get.

I think the K7 being launched while Intel has nothing new to offer and demand for PCs stinking, in general, gives AMD a huge opportunity. They may flop, but they will take some more hide off the once growing Intel.

What in the world are you talking about? Motorola and others have been blowing Intel's doors off for years.
