Youe earlier post, while not half as funny, reminded us all that the driver of the trial was the mortality target. On March 9, XOMA was close to the target but not there. If they were only one two or three away from the target, remember they halted the trial one short of the target, those one or two that subsequently died also represent complete data files. So indeed we are looking at a very small set of numbers for which only the 90 day data would not be useable to support the submission for approval.

We really need to know if any clinical trial can be unblined by the company running the trial at any time it is willing to forego part of the data. Gonzalez would probably know but she seldom, (never) post anymore.
