A person on NBR:Newsworld {Canadian Investor} said that the Nikkei has a PE of around 300 and is grossly overvalued, and due for a fall. I admit I'm no expert on Japan, and that many here are much closer to the markets there. My question is:
If the bonds yields are rising, as it appears to me, then what is going to hold the Nikkei up as the YEN appreciates? With a higher YEN, exports may well be hurt, and earnings may fall.
