PC and PI should both be eliminated (or ignored). They are just two of many symptoms reflecting the insanity infecting this society.

I don't oppose using the government to ensure freedom from discrimination - after all, historically the government was responsible for a lot of discrimination, e.g., enforcing slavery, Jim Crow laws, taking land from the Indians, and so forth. In the south, the public schools were segregated, and the black children were given inferior educations. Voter qualification tests kept black people from voting. All over the country, courts enforced restrictive covenants in deeds, so that a neighborhood could just "zone out" blacks, Jews, foreigners. And so forth.
