How about this new one the Nostradamus deadline on 9th of July passed without world coming to an end,
OT

Ike, Maybe not? Some say the translation may have meant Sept and not seven? Thus 9.9.99

And I read somewhere in a Y2K article one of the key dates to watch will be Sept. 9, 1999 because....999 or three nines in a row has certain meaning in computer code...I think it was to disregard a number that followed or something to that effect....so the saga continues? I also read somewhere a long time ago bible translation or I don't remember what/where, could have been a Nostradamus event? That the world would lose 1/3 of it capital in a single event? I vaguely recall it may have been interpreted as computer related.

I just spent the last day/half adding a 2nd computer to a LAN and trying to figure out how to get file sharing to work....Boy, the second part was hard...but it's nice to have the 2nd resource connected to my cable modem...I was running too many programs at once. Now I have 3 screens to watch.<g> I need a break before preparing for the coming busy earnings week.

Look at this SOX, at 400 we go back to nearly Nov 98.. good trend from here if we close out above 520.. to see my targt of 540 from the extended consolidation it can be beyond 540 anything, but time to take profits above and arounf 540 or 500..on the break don't sit ideal if this things break up or down..

Look at this chart, good filling of gaps over five days,
