Mad2,

I'm not short either at this moment, but, I'll short the next spike as it happens surely sometime in the near future. Sorry GUMM chewers and fanatics I'm not going to get squeezed as you probably surely wish.

I'm not sure either if the financing is a floorless convertible or not. But, I've hear opinions that it is. For you GUMM guys that means there is no floor to the conversion price and a limitless no. of shares can be sold by the holder as GUMM gets cratered.

Anyways, I'm keeping this one on my RADAR...

Mad2,

Yes, it has been awhile. I am not against shorting any stock only against skewed, contrived unresearched "information" being presented as facts. Stocks go up and stock go down and there are opportunities both ways depending on how one plays the market.

I think Dan has done a lot of good DD and he posts well-organized material and in a non-hyping manner. Mike got a bit emotional, yes, but people respond that way when outright inaccurate name-calling abounds. The people who invented Zicam are reputable scientists with searchable references on Paperchase, Pubmed, etc. Since he has met the folks at GUMM personally and has been a longterm shareholder who has spent more than 3 minutes' DD, this is understandable and he was egged on. Anyway...

If you look at the agreement, the registration of those shares for sale does not mean instant insider selling or bailing of the whole kit and kaboodle - it was part of the agreement. Indeed, as Dan pointed out, not only is there disincentive to sell on a "daily" basis for Citadel, there are other features that make it GUMM's choice as to how to pay them back. Clearly, they will make money, but it does not mean necessarily that the stock will be pounded in the meantime.
The "Makemilns'" posts on Yahoo explain the financing and Brown Russell's phone number is (602) 252-1617 x114; it's that easy to do real DD without a lot of innuendo and "snake oil" accusations (and I am not speaking about you personally on that one, just trying to limit my posts here). Actually, I appreciate your care in trying to be impartial.

Good luck to you,

Howard
