I have been thinking of buying some sideshow puts on both BTGC and CPQ.

In the past, (about 6 months ago or so), I traded successfully CPQ.

Since its latest collapse to around the low 20's, I have been watching it, [no current position], with the intention of going long, I missed the initial rebound, as I was not entirely convinced, even to this day, since CPQ ailments seem to be chronic, and other fundamental reasons.

Would you share with the thread, your reasons as to why buying puts would be a good move here ?

Just curious to learn another opinion.

IFMX - Continues Upward March

IFMX traded nicely yesterday on more than double normal volume
breaking through and closing at the $9.00 beginning of the overhead
resistance zone. Notice the chart below which is set to the weekly
setting. Take note of the previous $9.00 to $10.50 extended trading
zone was a long time ago.

Human nature dictakes that those folks will wait for a small gain or
break even and then jump ship. In other words, they will be satisfied
to "not lose money." The fact of the matter, time is also worth
something when it comes to investing. Time is money! Those folks that
did not CC as a means to generate income wasted their time, lost out
in CC profit opportunities, and exposed themselves to risk and stress
worrying about "when is IFMX going to go up>" The stock controlled
them, rather than them working IFMX.

I suspect that IFMX may start to move sideways in the $10 range for
a while as the shakeout begins and settles down. I'm fully loaded with
CCs for the JAN 10s at this time. Earnings release is due out next
week and I hear that IFMX has a habit of pulling back around earnings
release time. I'm playing IFMX very conservative with plans to add
more shares with the CC dollars I now have sitting in my account.

BTGC - Break Out?

BTGC moved up yesterday. A very nice price pattern is starting to take
shape with higher highs and higher lows within the BTGC trading range.
It may gap upwards past $8.00 - $9.00 if earnings is exceptional this
time. We are about two weeks away from earnings release.

But, I will be called out of my BTGC 8 CCs this coming Friday. I do
have plans to keep an eye on it and jump back in and build up my
position in the future. I'm moving some of the dollars into
additional IFMX shares. I like to work towards 1,000 shares with each
of my stocks.

RXSD - Possible Play?

I have been eyeing RXSD which is located in my part of the woods. It
selling so cheap at this point that I'm really tempted to make a go
of RXSD. The chart pattern is completing the second leg of a double
bottom and the company has a stock buyback program in place. The RSI
is way down for this stock. I have owned it twice before and done very
well.
