I'd think borrowing two million dollars from his friends would be the biggest hurdle. If he's persuasive enough to do this, working toward only a billion would be setting his sights too low. Cheers, PW. P.S. I learned to never lend to friends, you lose both your friend and your money. Saying "NO", you only lose your friend. On the other hand, giving, when appropriate, is another matter.
