Everyone has had problems with their online broker ... I've had major problems with DLJ Direct & Discover too ... from site going down, to an cancelled GTC, to waiting 5 weeks for a name change to be recognized ... and we have all had problems with our off-line brokers too ... I had a situation 2 months ago in which I was out over 135k in lost profits due to an error by Merrill Lynch ... miraculously (because I never expected them to admit to trying to pull a fast one), after maybe 6 weeks they admitted their trading desk made an error and gave in ... point being none of these companies are perfect, look out for your own interests, and EGRP is still the online brokerage to own (IMO).
