I tend to agree with you Carl.
I believe there will be a good shakeout, its really hard to say just when....and it will just mean the strong internets will come back blossoming better than ever! There may be many shakeouts down the road and many surprises on the upside, that's how stocks evolve.
Bob did it again today, and yesterday, and a couple of weeks ago and the week before that....everytime he is on the show it seems he is absolutely obsessed with talking about how overvalued the internets are, and many times in a show he will go on and on about how unbelievably the internets are overvalued and how they are now losing their value, like he keeps trying to pound it into us so we get his point...but what is his point..like trying to compare them to Microsoft or IBM or other quantifiable stocks?????
Bob keeps knocking the internets Yahoo, Amazon, Amazon, Yahoo saying they are overvalued and he just can't believe the price they are at but they are correcting and shrinking. The trouble is Bob, IMO, doesn't seem to understand that these internet stocks are not quantifiable like your IBM's Microsofts, GM's what have you...THEY ARE IN UNCHARTED TERRITORY....they are pioneer stocks in this revolution that is the INTERNET...the World Wide Web.....so you don't expect them to act like other quantifiable stocks they are acting like stocks with huge potential where the limits can't be seen yet, can't be quantified yet....so they are obtaining prices other "quantifiable" stocks just don't obtain. People are buying the future, they are buying market share to determine who the big boys and girls are in the game and taking chances on stocks that they think will be the major players in the internet in the future....but the limits for their growth have not been set in stone or foreseen yet, thats why the prices are not quantifiable under todays standards.
Yes, I believe these internet stocks that Bob seems to keep obsessing over week after week on his radio shows, will keep confounding the so called "experts" and makeing astounding new highs and then shaking out and coming back to making astounding new highs again, etc., etc., etc.
until the expotential growth of the internet can be measure for the future so that a growth pattern and limit to that growth pattern can be measured and quantified.
And I believe this is where the most money will be made and possibly lost to by the investor.
IMO, this is the only game in town in the foreseeable future, AGAIN IMO only!
Make up your own minds, do your own DD.
