Bill, Boy, you have fallen for the scam hook, line and sinker. <g> Odd, but our trade deficit was even huge when we were in recession. True, we are more willing to borrow money and mortgage our futures than are folks in other countries, so that is one reason for a higher deficit. But the simple fact is, we drive foreign cars and nobody else drives our lousy cars. We buy foreign tvs and vcrs and game machines and nobody buys ours, if we even have any.

As to tech cos., they represent what, 2-4% of the US economy? Good point of comparison. <g>
