Elroy, MailStation looks pretty cool, but...

...IMHO not nearly as practical on the road as PocketMail when it comes to receiving and confirming Wit ARs. MailStation has to have a phone jack, which is the major limitation for notebook computers when you're on the road and in a bind.

The PocketMail devices are small and have an acoustic coupler built in that lets you hold it up to any phone, including pay phones, and send and receive e-mail. It also retrieves your e-mail from any of your mail servers, just like MailStation.

Thanks for pointing out MailStation, though. I didn't even know it existed and it looks pretty cool. I have zero interest in promoting PocketMail, beyond the fact that it looks like a perfect solution for us when we have to be away from our computers.
