the shorts have 6 1/2 days to cover their short position Well... just to put that in context. A couple of months ago, we all thought you'd cover prior to the record date of the share dividend rather than face arbitration or litigation. In retrospect, perhaps that was a little overly optimistic. People who short for a living probably shouldn't be expected to cave in so easily. Now it looks like the settling will come about as a result of distributing the share dividend. It has taken a little longer to get to this stage, but eventually the share count has to be reconciled to distribute the dividend. --Coz
