the abrupt movement of affx may have been, in part, sympathy with hgsi, although hgsi pulled back half its gains. Another factor, perhaps, was the reiterated buy rating by CS-First Boston, which raised its target from 50 to 95, and 00 revs from 128m to 135m, 01 revs from 154m to 189m. This update was distributed to institutional clients and through jagnotes.
