Elmer,

<A product is something that is sold by the manufacturer to the customer, usually at a profit but AMD does not adhere to this business model.>

The comment above is one of the funniest I have read in a long time. AMD's business model is truly unique <g>.

<EP - re: They have more than 1, and I see you don't know the difference between samples and production. A product is something that is sold by the manufacturer to the customer, usually at a profit but AMD does not adhere to this business model. A product generates revenue. I have no doubt that there are K7 systems in the hands of perspective customers, everybody knows that. When they start selling them to customers in something greater than token amounts, then they will have a product. I am amazed that this isn't obvious. What do you think a product is? Clearly you don't think it needs to be available for sale nor does it need to have any announced customers. What does it take?>

I see. So which one is closer to being a product?
K7 or PeeIII/600; K7 or CuInNovemberUBmine; k7 or Merced That Makes iAPX432 look like A Pinnacle Of Speedy Design; k7 or Willamette that makes Merced look like a pinnacle of speedy design. Camino, Confusion-Profusion, Rambust, etc, etc. Should I continue? But we would never hear you and the rest of Intel chauvinist pigs ever admitting that something is rotten in the empire. Had you guys have any professional pride you would have admitted that a tiny bleeding company with no resources is kicking your 800-pound guerilla butt in x86 chip design.
