More y2k major test failures: How many of these are not reported or keep quiet? 07-12-1999 "Y2K test in New Mexico dumps 4000+ gallons of Raw Sewage"(source: MSNBC) An electrical equipment failure during a Rio Rancho Water Treatment plant Y2K test sent 4000+ gallons of raw sewage into an arroyo. Workers were able to clean up around 2000 gallons. (Editor's note: This is the second failure of this nature in the last few weeks.
