William, on a weekly basis I've asked myself each Saturday morning if I should purchase "Bearins". After much internal debate, I find myself purchasing one and within 15 minutes decide it wasn't worth it. Since you've just provided the overview of the latest issue, let me go on the record as stating I will never buy another one.

Tip

Actually I look upon Abelson and his associates as funny little curmugeons. Fortunately they are getting older, maybe they will retire soon. Can you imagine what his articles would look like in 2029 writing about the crash in 1929?

He understands companies like Kellogs and General Motors. Net companies that are young, growing and full of potential are just too complicated for him to understand. The idea that a company would actually put money to use and grow the business rather than have pile of cash sitting around at Money Market rates just seems to fly right over his green eyeshade. Maybe if Mr. Abelson spent a day looking at his life and then spent a day with a Kindergarten class he might make a few new connections in that old brain of his and obtain a more encompassing insight.

Untill then, I'm sure he can write a nice article about whatever company is still producing buggy whips. Bottom line for me, the man serves as a useful contrarian indicator.
