I recommend only the best. I see almost everything, but most of it is shit. American movies, from the Hollywood mainstream, suck. The indies give me hope- and European movies have always been good- but now we have access to movies from all over the world- which is wonderful. Of course some critics seem to fawn over the country du jour- I don't think you can let yourself fall victim to that. Just because a country is new to movie making doesn't automatically guarantee their films will be fresh and wonderful- they might just be naive and stupid.
