I also found an excellent writeup off the Optical Networks website that gives an excellent overview of "Network requirements for the Metro Market". This is a MUST READ for anyone wanting to evaluate NAC's prospects on their own. I encourage EVERYONE to at least glance at this. Please note: 1) In figure 2, look at the growth in DWDM versus SONET, and note WHEN this growth is projected. 2) In table 2, add a line for MetroFusion at the bottom, and I think the answers for the 8 columns are; yes(?), yes(!), yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. If anyone gets different results, please let me know. 3) in Figure 4, add in GE, which MetroFusion supports, but most others (including OpticalNetworks) do not. opticalnetworks.com
