The news is Tecnica and Principle Volki shareholder bought 66% of Marker Canada for $1M US as posted 7-2-99 on Edgar. In that release, it became public, for the first time to my knowledge, that they are going to pay $15M US for 85% of MRKR. The company will continue to operate as MARKER.

I snowboard, my perception of Volki and Tecnica, as top of the class products is not well researched. I know Marker Bindings area top product.

The deal is not closed on the deal for 85% of Marker Int. This link should ease minds as to whether Tecnica wants the deal to go through.

Where Hank Tauber's 3M preferred are figured in is not public yet. He also owned 4M shares common, so he has to approve the deal.

To me the news is the deal will go through.
