That is a perfect example of what I just pointed out. You have just 'shared' with us a bit, irrelevantly, changing the subject from the one under discussion-- whether the most recent homily you have offered us is a shallow, psychobabble cliched part-truth or An Eternal Verity-- to which one of us is bigger and more important.

I think you're getting too much estrogen. Typical female irrational response. I already answered you in the post previous to the one you now zero in on, and please note: I wondered aloud which of us has accomplished more. I never defined it as 'bigger or more important' -- those are your words, not mine.

As to psychobabble, you only perceive it as such because you do not fully grasp the meaning of what I say. Too bad. That is your problem, not mine. I am not your professor, nor do I wish to take on the role. I am sure there are other observers who understand exactly what I am saying.

I believe I have hurt your feelings, and you are attempting with that New York vs Detroit silliness to make yourself feel better.

You have not hurt my feelings. But you are hurting yourself with such quick dismissal of valid concepts. Perhaps they are beyond your experience or imagination. NY vs. Detroit is allegorical. If you challenge that then I invite you to look it up in CH's OED, presumably (in his opinion) the only English dictionary in the world that counts.

Don't feel bad.

I don't.

This isn't important, Terrence...

It is.

...if you are happy with your life.

I am.
