Assuming AOL's Marc Andreessen's prediction is right about
AOL will be as big as MSFT in 3 1/2 years, I did some
math with current AOL and MSFT's market valuation:

MSFT's market value is 400 B today, AOL is 138 B

MSFT next 5 years growth rate is averaging 22% (current and
next 5 years) so at the
end of 3 1/2 years, MSFT should have a market cap. of
806 B.

806 B / 138 B = 5.8

This means at the end of the next 3 1/2 year, AOL should
have two 2-1 splits and one 3-2 split if AOL splits at
$170.

If AOL splits at $150 or lower, three 2-1 splits allowed
in that range.

If that works out, 2 splits a year seems unlikely for the
next 3 1/2 years.

I'll take one split per year for year 2000, 2001 and 2002.
