Company Press Release
ADVISORY/Credence Debuts Matrix Test in U.S. at SEMICON West 99

biz.yahoo.com

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Credence Systems will be featuring, for the first time in the United States, the innovative Matrix Test(TM) process -- a complete zero-footprint in-line flash memory test system created out of the technology alliance between Credence, Fico b.v. and Amkor Technology at SEMICON West Test, Assembly & Packaging exposition in San Jose, Calif. Product and company information will be available at Credence's booth as well as installation and system updates.
The Matrix Test process integrates a Kalos non-volatile memory test system with a Fico strip-based test handler to dramatically improve the test process. This integrated solution is able to test a strip of flash memory devices without ''singulating'' the parts, or separating them from the strip. Credence estimates Matrix Test can provide up to 30 percent reduction in capital cost, use 30 percent less floor space and lead to more than 50 percent faster index time.

At Credence's booth the Matrix Test system will be testing 10 devices in parallel. In pre-production mode in Asia, the system is testing 25 devices in parallel.

When: Wednesday, July 14 through Friday, July 16, 1999

Where: SEMICON West 99 San Jose Convention Center, San Jose, Calif. Booth No. 11927

having trouble navigating SI now, so let me answer quick and hope it suffices,

PCTL has been in trading range 2 yrs, at low end with some neg weekly #s. Know zippo on fundies. If you got something for fundies, this is a very interesting area (i.e. cheap). Daily had BB break which is good here,but..

Why did drop big on 7/9 (news?), Stoch ready to turn. when is earnings release? expectation? OBV not positive. Enough to keep me watching but not committing. Could it shakeout to 5ish or was the point drop good enough? I would look close at the 15-minute and 60 for a possible move, short term.

I do TA but only a bit, mostly just know what I trade, not everything or anything if you know what I mean. Once I trade them I get a better idea what might work.
