jim, i use a t1 or t2 at work and a cable modem at home. no difference for 99% of the things i do on the net. sure, there are some differences, but not enough to sour me on the net or make me go buy a new box if i had a p166.

btw, most folks have a 56k or less - at least we agree for the vast majority of net users.
