chop,

whatever u do...dont use skytel 2-way if u receive emails from wit....its nice to be able to reply with pager, but their emails are so long that my last months bill before i cancelled was $580(pay by characters)...either skytel needs to be able to limit the emails themselves or wits messages needs to be shorter.

I use a Nokia 6162 to get my Wit emails, through AT&T. I use them for cell phone service, and they include receiving emails for free. My phone has its own email address, phonenumber@mobile.att.net, so you can have Wit and Etrade add it to your list of email addresses directly, no ISP forwarding necessary.

The phone can be set to beep whenever you get emails, so you get instant notification. There is a limit on email size, but you usually get enough of the email to decide whether you need to take action.

Well, I have decided to finally get a cell phone today. This gadget works fabulous. And it is FAST. I have been sending emails to my daughters email account and the email is there in seconds. It lets you RESPOND to email as well as send and receive email.
It also holds addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and fax numbers. So now I don't have to lug around extra info with me! It has a calander, alarm, announcement reminders, memo area. And this thing is small! It has a tiny little keyboard on it! It has worked like a charm!

So, I will get a cell phone...and when I am out all day...just check my email every now and then using phone and Pocketmail!!
