YHOO's price continues to erode since their earnings announcement. My fears in the internet sector are coming to a reality right before my very eyes. This liquidity may help MSFT and other blue chip tech stocks as this money needs a place to park.

Most people will not sit out this bullish market run that we're in, although I am starting to hear jitters about the PPI and CPI numbers due out within a week.

MSFT should continue its march towards earnings, although I am still watching the volume for some indications as to what's next.

I am hopeful.

The funny thing is, I don't get the sense the Market wants to sell off. I do believe, however, that there is a ton of profit taking going on within the Internet sector, yet this consolidation does not seem to be taking the steam out of the techs or broader market.

I get the feeling this Market still wants to go higher, much higher, regardless of the Internet selloffs that the NASDAQ seems to be churning through.

chunmun, MSFT and the NASDAQ just turned positive. Keeping an eye on the volume, but MSFT is showing strength. Volume on the NASDAQ is still light, but there was no panic selling after the weekend. This Market wants to go higher.

BTW, AMTD beat whisper # by a penny and is down 2, and YHOO is down another 6. I am looking for a bright spot in this Internet story, but I am not seeing it yet. The NASDAQ blue chips are benefiting as a result, however --- THAT'S GOOD NEWS FOR US HERE ON THIS BOARD!!!

Still looking for the volume,
Teflon

Chunmun - agree with you re: MSFT badly lagging stocks like SUNW and IBM that are hitting new highs. I hope today and tomorrow will be turning points in this stocks move prior to earnings. Even DELL has performed so well in the last few days. WOnder whats up - I fondly recall the days of the 3 and 4 point moves in MSFT prior to earnings - will we get our wish this time around?
