I think all concerned (including Bob) should focus on an internet index. Which one do you follow and do you have a link to show performance?

The only Internet Index I monitor is the BPINET published by Dorsey Wright & Associates: dorseywright.com

This is a Bullish Percent Internet Index and is only available to paid subscribers ($25/month) of Dorsey Wright. It is a compilation of about 120 Internet stocks. The index is a 0-100 scale and represents the percentage of the underlying stocks that are on Point & Figure BUY signals. The index peaked in April at 82 (82% of the index stocks were on Buy signals), generated a timely SELL when the index dropped below 70, and fell all the way to a low of 22 (only 22% of the stocks were on BUY signals) in early June. It then triggered a BUY when it rose above 30 in June and stands now at 68. A peak above 70 and subsequent drop below 70 would trigger another short term SELL.

More then you wanted to know? Actually, I suspect it is less then you wanted to know, since it probably is not the sort of benchmark that you were looking for. But, it is the only Internet Index I follow and that was your question.
