I agree all the low hanging apples are going to be picked before us John Q. Publics get a shot at it. But I think Dell did pretty well after their IPO, AOL did alright also.

A box is a box is a box. A lot of people can't afford Dell. But I think the untapped market are the people with less discretionary income who want to pony up $399 for an etower. As long as they can browse the web and run a spreadsheet, a word processer, and a game or two, they're good to go. Sure, you get some better multimedia stuff with higher end machines, but the downside is I don't think you get much bang for your buck. You pay the top dollars for a high end PIII system with all the gadgets, and it loses half it's value in a month when Intel releases it's next greatest thing.
