yes, that is incorrect

Ingram is ALSO a drop ship distributor
to practically half the US computer selling
sights on the internet. the way you can
tell is by the ship from address on your
package. If you are familier with the
location of Ingrams 11 distribution
centers, you'd recognize the addresses.
I buy from Ingram direct, and from many
online resellers that use them, and can
easially recognize the label matches.
A cool trick I've learned is to always
check Ingrams inventory before ordering
online. 9 out of 10 times, if they don't
have it, even the so called "real time"
inventory reading sights don't either.
That is because Ingram is ALSO and order
process software provider, and many of
these online vendors also use their software.
They just don't update as quickly as they
use a daily sweep update overnight, instead
of a real time update as Ingram direct has.
This is why it's wise to NEVER trust any
online resellers "real time" inventory counts
on a hard to find item. You should always
call and have them manually check inventory
status on a very new or hard to get item.
