Rande, a BDE question which addresses a broader issue: everyone who wants to know has learned that the convertible is not floorless. The BDE thread has great lists of all the deals that will start this fall. But there aren't enough buyers to hold the stock over 6. So what's wrong with this picture? It isn't lack of awareness. Somebody is discounting the current news very sharply. While others bemoan the fate of the poor shorts, don't forget we know how to manage money, set stops and follow our positions just like longs. In fact, I have ten times as many long positions as shorts. Don't get too carried away with the melodrama. Thanks.

Rande, not sure if you have seen Zeev's post regarding BDE. There still is a less damaging type of floorless in place. I mentioned it the other day. It is for $6mln. Here is the link. techstocks.com What he says makes sense since the stock is having a hard time holding anything over 6. It rallied from 4 3/4 to 6 easily, but now has hit a wall. It's going to really take a swift kick in it's ass tick get it back over 6, imho. x p.s. still long, so no short bashing here<g>
