Nothing like a little anonymity to keep the quality of the group on the plus side.

Trust me when I say that Texas would do a classic cold water shrivel to the size of Rhode Island if it had to experience a day next to a tidewater glacier in the Prince William Sound. Very beautiful, but colder than.....

Calving glaciers are very cool.

Went white water river rafting in Valdez. There is nothing worse than having to stick your already dead ungloved hand into the glacial runoff water to dig in going into a 6 foot wall of water that you know is going to soak you to the bone. Also strongly recommended.

This wasn't a normal cruiseline. This was a motor vessel of 143'. Only 54 passengers so it was very intimate. Strongly recommend - Cruise West, "Spirit of Alaska".

Air conditioner can't get the house below 78 here in the San Fernando Valley today.
