"Plenty of other places to make money......"

Well, why hasn't Mr. Buffett found them ?
I read the article in Business Week (?)... if accurate , it is a little disturbing. Says Munger and Buffett no longer communicate much. Is WEB becoming isolated? Says after 3 days of travelling, Buffett looked "ashen". I still look to BRK for leadership in the markets, but it might be time to examine eventualities.

Leroyt,

I know quite a bit about Mr. Buffet and his style. How dare you presume otherwise?

Mr. Buffet claims not to invest in companies whose products he doesn't understand. Sounds a bit demeaning doesn't it? Is understanding soft
drinks and razor blades the limit of his capabilities. I think not.Someone who can understand the ins and outs of the insurance business can easily grasp the essentials of the various tech sectors.
If not - employ someone who can.

Mr Buffet has done all his shareholders a huge disservice over the last 8 years or so by ignoring the likes of MSFT, CSCO et al.
He is missing the latest upturn of the semi business as I write.
Look at the performance of, for example, QCOM, BRCM, CNXT, ARMHY this year. These aren't trading stocks either, these are genuine long term investments.

BTW - when do you think the A shares will hit $250K?
