For one thing "Git" is not racist. It is not sexist. It is an equal opportunity derisive term.It is like the word moron. It can be applicable to anyone of any race, creed or sex.Although it is of British origin,I find it to be very American in nature because it is so inclusive.I also find that anyone who immediately applies race or slander to anyone's right to speak, utter, write or think freely without a threat of intimidation to be of no more consequence than average every day book burning-thought controlling nazi who would take the first ammendment and throw it on that trash heap called fascism.I know that you are not anti-jeffersonian and you are a true believer of our constitution and our Bill of Rights and like myself totally support the rights of all to use any word anywhere and at anytime that they may seem fit.To call Ken Griffey a bum if you so choose does not slander him nor does it make the fan who doesn't like him a racist either.By the way I like Ken Griffey, but I definitely think Albert Belle is a Bum.And I think the present CEO of 3com is most accurate definition of a Git that I have ever seen.So there----my tongue is sticking out at you.
