JCC,

I have Win98, here's how I get there.

Start\programs\accessories\system tools\system information

When you get to "system information" click on Tools in the menu bar, then click on system config. utility, this brings up a window that has tabbed files and startup stuff.

Hope this helps!!

Microsoft System Information ...

Oops! I wasn't clear. When I said to use Microsoft System Information, I didn't indicate how to get there. I've customized my Start menu and have forgotten the Win98 default places for things so I couldn't post the proper clickstream.

Anyway, you could click Start, select Run and type MSINFO32 to get Microsoft System Information going. Once running, select tools and you're on your way. As well, you could click Start-Help and look for System Information. Win98's help will give you the clickstream.

Hope this helps, PW.

P.S. MSINFO32 does NOT contain a zero, but the letter 'O' instead.

Why is it we only discover them through trial and error?

I don't mind discovering things through trial. It's discovering things through error that hurts!

Cheers, PW.
