well, ge. you'd think if it was going to be at the forefront that Eisner would guarantee the buyout by offering a higher conversion price. what's the total value? What is going to be the final price? either Eisner has more faith in the market than the market has in the market, or i'm misreading.

nevertheless, we're not selling; just holding. although personally i have to wonder about this.

maybe what DIS is really saying with this deal is that Dis doesn't really need SEEK - they're going to consolidate their internet properties regardless of seek shareholder approval. Seek can come along if it wants. If Seek doesn't come along, then Dis will be content to wait out their three years and buy the rest of Seek anyway. This is a form of blackmail for the largest of the Seek shareholders - since they all know this could happen; and no wants wants this scenario to play out. wonder which rocky moutain oyster cutter Eisner was using when he was talking with Motro and gang?

does Eisner have an elevated view of what the market really thinks of Dis?
