clearly you need to read up on for example at&t, for your dd is one generation back:-) find out about how they are now solely expanding there network (hint, and i will scramble the letters - voip).

walmart and idtc both offer low prices. now you know why idtc is also growing so quickly. although i am afraid i just gave away an idtc secret.

voip is complex, and idtc understands and built the book on it.

VoIP billing? Of course IDT realized way before eveyone else that billing is a complex system. That is why they developed their own and now are years ahead of everyone else. An excerpt from the news piece is pasted below.

"David Greenblatt, chief operating officer of IP telephony provider Net2Phone, says building an effective IP telephony billing system is a challenge. He notes that Internet telephony sales are driven by prepaid calling cards, which require real-time systems to know immediately when a calling card has run out of credit.

Greenblatt says Net2Phone's customers, which mostly are other phone companies, demand bills online and want up-to-the-minute detailed information on their bills.

Two years ago, Net2Phone did not find any billing systems suited to IP telephony services, so the company built its own system. Greenblatt estimates it took three to four people two years to build the system, which cost $3 million to $4 million."
