<<Take Heart My Great Fellow! If a Tree Falls in the Woods and there is Nobody there to Hear it...does it make a Sound?>> What is painfully clear is that the knot on the bear's head definitely hurts. The nature and contents of a bee hive is determined completely by the Queen. The offspring all have her identical genetic make up. In the seventies I was a bee keeper, living in South West Oregon. We used to throw all the male (drone) cells out of the bee box. That way almost all of the offspring would be females (workers). The drones just idly sit around in the hive until a new Queen is ready. When she is she flys up and the lucky drone who can fly highest and fastest gets to do her. Thats it, she gets all the sperm she will need for the rest of her life from that one episode. The drones (40,000) go back to the hive kick back and take it easy for the rest of their lives.

So, what's that got to do with the bear who got bopped when the tree fell. Well, bears are addicts. Once they have tasted bee grubs they will continue to attack bee hives as long as they can find them. Winny the pooh is a fake. It was never the honey he was after. The trees falling in the forest are tipped over by gaurdian bee angels sent to save the unborn.
