There is still one thing puzzling me about all the talk about China and Internet. When I last checked, China is a dictatorship with very strict censorship of its people. How can iron fisted communist government let the free exchange of ideas go on?

I just don't see the freedom of speech allowed in china on the internet or anywhere else. Wiht out the freedom how do you figure email and all of the other benefits fo the web can psssibly be successfull in China?

Cmments anyone?
