Don, when I started investing in applix, My first shares were at 5.5 or so. I also doubled my position last aug in the low 3's. I made more cash on nine but have more value in aplx.

I bougth applix as a turnaround. applix went south as a company that was unix centric and the wind blew borg. But over a year ago I saw applix with applixware as a clearly identifiable benefactor of the linux movement. Originally Redhat sold applixware and that's how I first found out about it. But I only started serious investing about 18 month's ago. I bought my first applix about 13 to 14 month's ago. I never would have touched it back then in the teens. But I also missed selling at several highs(only 8 to 10). I now systematically sell and buy back a percentage of holdings.

But today I bought back 8k shares at under 10. So I might give back some profit. But aplx may go the way of MTIC.
