Hi gabe, you can still learn by watching the veterans trade on this thread. There is no need to bring in the actual $ figures into the trades. its the entry and exit point..I notice the Chief almost always has a good feel for the trades and the market momo.I am learning from everybody here. You can capitalize on good news in a stock by going for the 10.30 dip when all the sellers and buyers are taking a break.

I find the technicals are of no use to me because i trust the double bottom from the seat of my pants. So far i have been daytrading for more than two years and am extremely successful. I had MCf 10K @1.10 and Bii at 1.11 10k but i daytraded much of the profits by going in and out of these excellent picks i had. I think i picked BII before there was a thread on it on SI. Daytrading is for people who love the market action and love the excitement of volatile stocks..Overall with Gods blessing i am way ahead of my expectations .. and will continue to daytrade..I notice some of the earlier daytraders have moved on to the penny stocks..i guess less capital less risk.. I personally find penny stocks generally losers. The only penny i have made big money is CY.ase bought @0.30 23K sold at 2.24-2.99 all of it...

The other aspect of this thread that intrigues me and fascinates me is the myriad of people with different backgrounds and pocketbooks playing deligently the capitalistic game of making money by harnessing technology and using their own experience picking stocks and learning from experience. There is a certain amount of confessional strengh in declaring on this thread your good and bad trades. It gives you strength to make that next big trade. You feel you are not alone and others like you have made same mistakes.

But i agree bringing in the actual dollar figures into the postings will discourage smaller traders from displaing their excellent ideas and trades...

sorry about the diatride..

Best Regards
the Swami
