Gilder is a "technofuturist" who picks technologies and companies who exploit those technologies. He's not a stock timer. for example, he has picked Qualcomm many years ago, when it was not fashionable--he knew it would rule the wireless world soon. Many people balk at the $295/year price tag. But it's worth it. today, I took 5,000 shares at 18 and sold at 28 (yikes--just went pts higher after my sale--oh well). Certainly a good return for five hours in the market. I've even spent $4,000 to go to one of his conferences, which was well worth it. Check him out at: www.gildertech.com
