John Doerr of Kleiner Perkins has recently stated that Amazon.com will be a $200b (market cap) company.

That would be a ten-bagger from here. John Doerr is far and away the most influential venture capitalist in the world. (John also has a huge position in Amazon).

I don't mean metered in the sense of keeping tabs on each viewer but in terms of tracking the response - if sales increase or not. web ads for the most part don't pay off. That's why Amazon and other companies rely so much on advertising in traditional media to draw customers to the web.
