Yup, it was a great show.

That Corsair was the hottest thing
short of the P-51 and P-38.

I still catch a rerun now and again.

Interestingly, I never thought ole
John would amount to much.

Let's not forget Rick from Magnum PI
got his start with Pappy, too.

It's really interesting that the US has
been building fighters the same way ever
since. Can't turn with the enemy but
always bigger and faster.
