AMD closes their quarters on a FRIDAY.

So, AMD's Q2 would have closed on June 25 or July 2.

If June 25, I doubt that the 2 days between the June 23 - the "mea culpa thissa time " could have brought in significant revenue.

If July 2, maybe AMD got some charity business from Compaq.
